Hi Everyone,

It's time to make your plans for the White Mountain Velo 13th Annual - “Ride to the Border”.    Date: August 1st and 2nd, 2009

Ride to the US/Canadian border with an overnight stay at Tall Timber Lodge in Pittsburg, NH.

Contact me ASAP for room availability and to secure your spot.

DETAILS

~The Tall Timber Lodge, located on Back Lake, is famous for their rustic accommodations & gourmet meals. Lodging w/breakfast & dinner range from $60 to $85 pp.
Choose the ride distance that suits you best:
~ 100 miles – From Lancaster, up VT 102 along the Conn. River to Canaan Vt, into NH up Rt 3 thru Pittsburg to the US/Canadian border, back to Tall Timber Lodge.
~ 60 miles – From Lancaster, up VT 102 along the Connecticut River to Canaan Vt, into NH up Rt 3 through Pittsburg to Tall Timber Lodge.
~ 40 miles - Drive to Tall Timber Lodge, meet others, then ride to the border and back.
~ Fewer miles - Join the others for a few miles anywhere along the way.
~ Sag vehicles will shuttle overnight gear. Drivers have the option to ride parts of the route.  (Yes, we'll be looking for 2- 3 sag vehicles and volunteers to drive sections of the route to Pittsburg.)

~ A different route is planned for the ride back on Sunday. It'll include Rt 145 from Pittsburg to Colebrook, Rt 26 over Dixville Notch to Errol, Rt 16 south along 13 Mile Woods, Rt 110A & Rt 110 to Groveton, back to Lancaster on Vt 102, (about 80 miles). There are many options to "jump-in" or "bail-out" along this route.

Please pass this info along to other WMV members.

Hope you're able to make this years ride!  Joe Homer
